I have a fascination with the perfect abstractions that can be found in creation. I often spend hours studying little objects such as leaves and rocks. I ask myself: "What makes this object beautiful? Why does it almost universally appeal to our visual senses?" In identifying the relevant factors, I try to emulate them on canvas.
